Which Wedding Cake

Freshly made to order using free range eggs and no artificial colours, every wedding cake tastes as good as it looks. Our exquisite range of cakes have been designed to compliment each style from romantic vintage to striking modern themes. Fiona Cairns was Royally commissioned to make the cake for the marriage of Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge, and she’s been making exclusive cakes for us for over 20 years.

Most of the cakes need to be ordered at least 35 days in advance of the big day, although there are some that can be ordered just 7 days ahead. This can be particularly useful if you find yourself having to cater for additional guests. Celebration cheese cakes are becoming increasingly popular and great for those who have a savoury palate.

Waitrose supplies party food and also offers free glass loan when you place your food order. Wine and champagne cases are available from Waitrose Direct.

Classic Waitrose Wedding Cake Review, 17/03/2018 10:50pm

By: JustMyReview

I attended a friend's wedding last summer and there was a lovely wedding cake (a white 3-tier iced cake with normal sponge). It tasted really good and when I said to the bride how much I liked the cake she told me it was from Waitrose! I have now ordered a 4-tier classic ribbon cake with a fruit base and chocolate sponge on top. The website says it serves 90-115 portions which should be OK for my 100 guests. The wedding cake lasted well at my friend's wedding so I think it'll be OK for mine too. It's £229.
We're now just deciding whether to order a small cheese cake too for the evening buffet table.
